Bob Baldwin visits Forrest

I was pleased to welcome Bob Baldwin the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Environment to the South West yesterday.  Bob is a regular visitor to the region, but this was his first trip in his current role, which includes natural research management and water issues.

We launched the South West Catchment Council’s “Save the crabs, them eat them” fertiliser management program.  I also took Bob to visit Bunbury’s dolphin discovery centre.

Then we visited Capel Vale vineyard for a working lunch on water management in the capes region with reps from the Busselton Water Board.  And finally we talked to Harvey Water about water management in the northern part of the area.

Thanks Bob for coming to the South West again.
