South West Stronger Communities Programme continuing

– Turnbull Government extends Stronger Communities Programme to a fourth round
– Invitations for local organisations to apply for up to $20,000 in grant funding from a pool of $150,000 will soon open

The Turnbull Government has committed an additional $22.5 million to continue the highly successful Stronger Communities Programme (SCP).

Member for Forrest Nola Marino said the additional investment for another round of SCP would ensure that local decision making continues to play a decisive role in funding community building projects.

“This is great news for the South West,” Mrs Marino said.

“I advise local community groups to get their thinking caps on now.

“Grants will be available between $2,500 and $20,000 for successful applications and soon organisations will be invited to put forward their attractive, high-quality, projects for assessment.”
