Program to inspire women

Forrest MHR Nola Marino is seeking 60 women from science, technology, engineering and mathematics professions to become role models for young women and girls hoping to embark on a STEM career.

“I encourage women in STEM fields across the South West to apply,” Mrs Marino said.

“This is a great opportunity for local women working in STEM to become long-term role models for girls and young women.”

Run by Science & Technology Australia, the Federal Government invested $1.3 million over four years to expand the Superstars of STEM program.

Nominations are open until 10pm on September 23. For more information or to apply go online to www.scienceandtechnology australia.org.au.
