Staff and students at St Mary Mackillop College in Busselton will benefit from a project that will deliver new classrooms and other amenities, funded in part by the Federal Government’s Capital Grants Program.
Federal Member for Forrest Nola Marino MP said the grant would provide $506,000 towards the project at St Mary Mackillop College.
“Students and staff at St Mary Mackillop College will benefit the construction of six new general learning areas with a store, student and staff toilets and changerooms, furniture and equipment.
“These new modern and up to date facilities at the school will help students and teachers thrive and I look forward to seeing the positive impact on their learning environment, “ Ms Marino said.
Acting Principal of St Mary Mackillop College Joanne Paini said she was very grateful for the support of Mrs. Marino and the Federal Government to support the expansion of St Mary Mackillop College.
“This building program allows us to continue to offer a high standard of education to our students and accommodate our growing enrolment numbers.”
