Staff and students at Our Lady of Cape Primary School in Dunsborough will benefit from the construction of two new senior learning areas, funded in part by the Federal Government’s Capital Grants Program.
Federal Member for Forrest Nola Marino MP said the grant would provide $177,000 towards the project at the school.
“Students and staff at Our Lady of Cape Primary School will benefit from a suite of updates such as the two new senior general learning areas which include new male and female toilet blocks and external work with landscaping,”
“These new modern and up to date facilities at the school will help students and teachers thrive and I look forward to seeing the positive impact on their learning environment, “ Ms Marino said.
Principal at Our Lady of the Cape Primary School Eugene Lee said he was very grateful for the support of Mrs. Marino and the Federal Government to support the expansion of Our Lady of the Cape Primary School.
“The school is transitioning from a single stream to double stream primary school, and we are looking forward to construction commencing early in 2022.”
