Forrest MHR Nola Marino is urging agricultural scientists, innovators and researchers to apply for a share of $286,000 in grants.
The 2019 Science and Innovation Awards recognise ideas that contribute to the success of Australia’s agriculture, fisheries and forestry sectors.
Mrs Marino said the South West had a wealth of young talent who come up with creative ways to boost productivity and sustainability in their chosen fields.
