I am calling on the Federal Government to fund endometriosis and pelvic pain clinics here in Forrest. I have been fighting for and on behalf of endo sufferers for many years seeking to improve awareness, research, treatment, and care options. My ultimate hope is that ongoing research will identify a cure. So far, 20 clinics specialising in pelvic pain treatment have been opened, with only two of those clinics here in WA. This is simply not sufficient given that at least one in seven women are suffering from endometriosis. No woman should have to suffer alone, and with the number of women suffering in the South West, the need for these clinics is paramount. I am calling for endo and pelvic pain clinics to be funded in the Bunbury and Busselton areas.
