TWO South West schools are set to benefit from an early learning program after the federal government recently announced an education expansion.
Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School and Great Beginnings Bunbury will now be involved in the Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) program Forrest MP Nola Marino said the program had already been successful in getting students engaged and interested in learning a language.
“There are already three preschools in the region engaging over 70 young children through a series of interactive applications to introduce them to the basics of learning a second language like Mandarin, French and Spanish,” she said.
“Learning a second language opens up a whole new world of opportunities in this increasingly global economy.” For more information visit ella.edu.au.
