Dunsborough becomes a ‘bay friendly school’ with help of Geocatch

Nola Marino with Dunsborough Primary School principal Garry Jones.

Nola Marino was at the special ceremony held last Friday for Dunsborough Primary School students on their local foreshore to celebrate becoming a Bay Friendly School.

The program aims to motivate and enable current and future generations to respect and take action for healthy WA waterways.

It was set up as part of the BayOK Program which is run by the Geographe Catchment Council (GeoCatch).

Mrs Marino congratulated school Principal Garry Jones and Geocatch on their new partnership and encouraged students to learn about their local waterways.
