The public submission period for the review of the Dairy Industry Code has been extended until 29 August 2021.

Federal Member for Forrest Nola Marino MP said the two-week extension would allow more input from south west dairy farmers, processors, and industry groups.

“Based on feedback, we’ve extended the public submission period to allow more people to have their say on the Dairy Industry Code,” Ms Marino said.

“The review will play a critical role in assessing whether the code is operating as intended and delivering the outcomes the dairy industry needs.
