Capel Civic Precinct go ahead

Stage four of the Capel Civic Precinct will go ahead thanks to secured funding.

Member for Forrest Nola Marino said the $2.36 million funding from the Turnbull Government’s Building Better Regions Fund would make the project reality.

“The Capel Civic Precinct will be a lively hub for youth, leisure, recreation and other community activities,” Mrs Marino said.

“The multipurpose community centre includes a youth space, skate-able link and a play space for people of all abilities.

“I’ve been fighting long and hard for this project and it’s so great to see it delivered.”

Capel Shire President Murray Scott said he was delighted to receive the fantastic news that funding had been secured.
