Submissions are called for in the Regional Education Review, which examines barriers to higher education for regional students.
Forrest MHR Nola Marino urged members of the education community, families and employers to consider the discussion paper.
Prepared by Emeritus Professor John Halsey, the paper identifies the key issues and challenges faced by rural students and poses areas of focus to stimulate ideas about possible solutions.
The final report and recommendations of the review is expected by the end of this year.
Submissions close August 29. For more information visit www.education.gov.au.
