Member for Forrest Nola Marino is encouraging people to meet the Minister for Small Business Michael McCormack, when she hosts him in the South West on Wednesday May 3.
Mrs Marino is providing the South West an opportunity for small business owners to ask the Minister questions at the Small Business Q&A Panel in Busselton at the Busselton Community Resource Centre between 8am – 9.30am and Bunbury at the St Augustine’s Hall between 12.30pm – 2pm.
“The Small Business Q&A Panel provides small business owners a first-hand opportunity to ask the Minister questions,” Mrs Marino said.
“The South West is a vital WA region and with an array of diverse businesses, I’m bringing the Small Business Minister to the South West.
“The Turnbull Government delivered the lowest small business tax rate in half a century and only the Liberal-led Government will ensure Australia’s economic environment will create jobs for hard-working people in the South West.”
Australia has 2.1 million small businesses, which employ nearly 5 million people, accounting for nearly half of the country’s total employment.
In Forrest, there are over 12,600 small businesses with over 2,800 businesses in the construction industry and over 1,800 agricultural small businesses, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
