CENTENARY GRANTS MEMBER for Forrest Nola Marino has called for expressions of interest for the federal government’s Armistice Centenary program.
The program marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1 next year.
Funding can be sought for up to half the cost of proposed project, with a minimum grant amount of $3,000. Applications will be reviewed by a committee and impressive plans will be asked to apply when the program opens.
Mrs Marino said ex-service organisations, not-forprofits, schools and other educational institutions, museums and cultural institutions, historical associations and Australian local government bodies are all eligible to apply for funding through the program.
Applicants must submit a project plan and budget from the department of veterans affairs’ website.
